Overview of the security classes

Charging lithium-ion batteries involves a considerable risk of damage and therefore requires special attention in terms of safety. As the safety requirements vary depending on the application, we have developed a flexible safety concept that is divided into three safety classes.
True to our motto “Security that fits”, we offer individually tailored solutions and distinguish between the following security classes:

SafetyClass-
Basic

Power socket switch-off via safety relay, monitoring of smoke detectors, emergency stop and room temperature, status display via signal tower, compliant with work and fire safety regulations.

SafetyClass-
Advanced

Extended basic function with PLC signal processing, individual monitoring and shutdown of charging processes in the event of deviations, temperature monitoring and status display on 12'' HMI.

SafetyClass-Advanced-Pro

Enhanced Advanced function

Basic equipment loading container

Integratable fire protection system with multi-sensor detector, emergency stop and signalling column, lighting, service socket, air conditioning (+20°C summer, +5°C winter), technical ventilation, control cabinet and 16A protective contact customer interface.

Optional equipment loading container

Automatic door hold-open system, temperature and door position monitoring, additional emergency stop in the entrance area, motion detector and intelligent sockets
for the monitoring of each charging process.

Most frequently asked questions

No, planning permission and other permits are not required. A sufficiently large area is sufficient to set up the loading container.

No foundation is required and the installation location is flexible. A solid surface is sufficient for setting up the loading container.

No special requirements apply to the loading container with regard to the minimum distances to be maintained. The general regulations of the respective state building regulations apply. Furthermore, a service distance of at least 1 meter from adjacent buildings or facilities is recommended.

The loading container has an intelligent loading management system, which includes the following key points:

  • Active load management
  • Integrated safety functions (fire alarm system, emergency stop button)
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Detection of defective batteries
  • Detection and display of charging status
  • Loading capacities
  • Possibility to add further loading options in the container

The maximum number of charging processes depends on the charging currents of the chargers or batteries used. You can charge up to 150 batteries at the same time.

The current delivery time, including delivery, installation and commissioning, is 22 to 25 weeks.
