FAQ

Most frequently asked questions

The loading container basically consists of a certified F90 / REI 90 fire protection container with DIBt approval.

In most federal states, no building permits or other permits are required. However, this depends on the state building regulations of the respective federal state where the loading container is to be installed and depends on the container size.

The loading container may only be set up on flat and paved surfaces (e.g. concrete slab) that are suitable for the weight of the loading container. The selection of concrete in terms of load-bearing capacity, usability and durability according to DIN EN 206 must be determined in accordance with local requirements and conditions.

Auf Grund der Korrosionsgefahr darf der Boden nicht magnesihaltig sein.

There are no special requirements regarding the minimum distances to be maintained for the loading container. The general regulations of the respective state building regulations apply.

Furthermore, a service distance of at least 1 meter from adjacent buildings or facilities is recommended.

In its standard version, the loading container has the following interfaces:

  • Terminal strip for supply cable (power cable)
  • Terminal strip for signal exchange (control cable)
  • Grounding rail for integration into the customer's grounding concept

The loading container has a basic dimension of W=2.82m x D=2.58m x H=2.91m (without attachments) and can be expanded in depth in increments of 1.20m.

The loading container has the following features:

  • Walk-in REI / F90 fire protection storage with DIBt approval
  • Permit-free installation
  • Flexible indoor and outdoor installation
  • Active charging management
  • Individually customizable safety concepts
  • Monitoring and automatic shutdown of charging processes in the event of errors
  • Transmission of errors and alarms
  • Mobile data transmission and backend
  • Loading capacities of up to 2000 loading processes per loading container have already been realized

In addition to our standard solutions, we also develop loading containers that are perfectly tailored to individual customer requirements.

Each loading container has the following basic equipment:

  • Walk-in REI / F90 fire protection warehouse with DIBt approval with galvanized drip tray and anti-panic fire protection door
  • Connection box on the outer back of the container as a connection point for customer supply lines
  • Interior lighting
  • Fire protection system
  • Air conditioning (cooling and heating)
  • Technical ventilation
  • Signal tower outside the entrance area
  • Emergency stop on the control cabinet inside the container
  • 16A protective contact sockets as an interface for customer charging peripherals
  • Customer-oriented storage and loading concept (heavy-duty racking, assembly wall, mobile loading racks or loading lockers)
  • 16A service socket in the inner entrance area

The basic equipment of the loading container can be expanded with the following additional functions:

  • Automatic door hold system
  • Smart sockets for monitoring every single charging process
  • Room temperature monitoring
  • Door position monitoring
  • Motion detector inside the container
  • Additional emergency stop in the outer entrance area
  • Outdoor lighting

Charging lithium-ion batteries involves a considerable risk of damage and therefore requires special attention in terms of safety. As the safety requirements vary depending on the application, we have developed a flexible safety concept that is divided into three safety classes.
True to our motto “Security that fits”, we offer individually tailored solutions and distinguish between the following security classes:

  1. SafetyClass – Basic
  • Socket shutdown via safety relay
  • Monitoring of fire alarm system, emergency stop and room temperature
  • Status display via signal tower
  • Compliant with work and fire safety regulations
  1. SafetyClass – Advanced
  • Extended basic function with PLC signal processing
  • Individual monitoring and switching off of charging processes in the event of deviations
  • Status display on 12'' HMI
  1. SafetyClass – Advanced-Pro
  • Advanced advanced function with our CIRCLE system
  • Web-based dashboards, real-time analysis and reporting
  • Alerts via email or SMS

Loading concepts with 30 to 2,000 loading processes per loading container have already been implemented.

However, the number of charging processes depends on the customer's charging peripherals and depends on the respective dimensions and performance data of the equipment used.

Depending on the design of the loading container, the operating data or status displays in the loading container itself can be read on a 12" HMI on the control cabinet or on the web.

Each loading container has a signal tower with an acoustic detector in the outer entrance area that indicates the status accordingly. In addition, the charging container offers an electrical interface (potential-free contacts) for connecting collective messages for warnings and alarms.

Depending on the design of the loading container, pre-defined people can be informed accordingly via SMS or email in the event of an error.

Our charging container is suitable for all applications in which lithium batteries with low or medium performance are used and must be safely stored and charged in larger quantities.

Die Lieferzeit ist abhängig von der Ausführung. In der Standardausführung beträgt die Lieferzeit inklusive Lieferung, Montage und Inbetriebnahme ca. 22-24 Wochen.

All external supply lines are connected to the connection box on the outside back of the charging container.

The following services must be provided on site:

  • Provision and testing of suitable installation space
  • Connection of supply lines to the connection box
  • Connection of foundation earthing to earthing bar
  • (Optional) Connect network cable to the connection box
  • (Optional) Connection of signal cable to the connection box
